Karl was born in Opelousas, Louisiana -- Cajun Country. He watched and learned how to cook those wonderful Cajun and Creole dishes from his family. He also learned how to make his famous hot tamales from his Grandmother -- that recipe is over 100 years old. Karl moved his family to St. Thomas and brought the flavor of Louisiana with him. His love of cooking keeps all of us happy !
